Lorena Manhães is a Creative Director and Graphic Designer based in Barcelona, collaborating globally. With over 14 years of experience in visual systems, Lorena approaches projects with a 360-degree strategic vision, sensitivity and deep thoughtfulness, capturing their essence to create refined visual languages.

She worked with brands like Microsoft, Meta, and IBM, as well as cultural institutions, furniture designers, fashion brands, city councils and creative agencies such as Buck Design, Réplica and Clase. Simultaneously, she drive self-started projects as Tatuí, blending her expertise in branding and art direction with her vibrant Brazilian roots.

Lorena helps people navigate the sea of information by being an efficient curator. Driven by passion, she maintains high standards of quality, bringing strong aesthetics and critical thinking to ensure an inspired creative process.

RECOGNITION
Her work was recognized with 3 Laus Awards by ADG-FAD and featured at It’s Nice That, Visual Journal, Mindsparkle Magazine, Behance, Typeverywere, among others.
EXPERIENCE
Living in Barcelona since 2015, she graduated in Graphic Design at UFES (Vitória, Brazil) and holds a Master’s degree in Graphic Communication and Editorial Design from Elisava (Barcelona, Spain). Leading innovative and challenging clients at Firma and directing projects as part of Atipus’ experienced team, as well as with Clase Bcn, have been key parts of her career. Now working as a freelancer, she collaborates with creative agencies like Buck Design and Réplica.
SIDE PROJECT
Tatuí is a self-initiated project born out of objects filled with collective memory and history. It is a process that involves movement, interaction, research, and curation both within and outside my country of origin.
